Job Posting – Material Handler

Advanced Fixtures, Inc., is an in-store fixture manufacturer that is located in Farmersville, TX that has the capability to execute all elements of a project from design, engineering, prototyping, production, delivery and installation of in store fixtures. This could include fixtures for a single location, a chain of stores, or a major national rollout. With our broad range of experience working with national accounts, combined with in-depth knowledge and understanding of cabinetry and millwork, Advanced Fixtures provides each client with an array of top-notch services.

Job Description:

Organize custom store fixtures per work number. Staging, packaging, loading, and shipping preparation of all finished goods. Associate should also be capable of organizing pallets of parts by reading work orders, counting parts, determining if machining functions are completed and validating the hardware is correct and in order. This position entails a person who is capable of keeping up with multiple projects at a time, highly organized, and attentive to detail.

Shifts:

Monday thru Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm. Fridays and Saturdays as required by workload will be considered Overtime.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Move finished goods to designated stock areas
  • Safely and efficiently organize material per project.
  • Able to work efficiently with low to moderate level of supervision required.
  • Read and understand all parts of a work order packet including drawings, cut lists, and bill of material.
  • Maintain a consistent work pace and monitor areas for project needs.
  • A solid work ethic and self-motivated candidate is essential for this position.
  • Requirements of pushing product around that could weight anywhere from 30-60 lbs.
