Job Posting – Finishing Technician

Advanced Fixtures, Inc., is an in-store fixture manufacturer that is located in Farmersville, TX that has the capability to execute all elements of a project from design, engineering, prototyping, production, delivery and installation of in store fixtures. This could include fixtures for a single location, a chain of stores, or a major national rollout. With our broad range of experience working with national accounts, combined with in-depth knowledge and understanding of cabinetry and millwork, Advanced Fixtures provides each client with an array of top-notch services.

Job Description:

Staining and painting custom store fixtures in accordance with the plans and specifications provided by Engineering.

Shifts:

Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Fridays and Saturdays, as required by workload, will be considered overtime.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Exhibit a general understanding of the woodworking industry and be able to work safely with a moderate level of supervision.
• Safely and efficiently operate all required hand tools at a high skill level (palm sanders, spray rigs, respirators, etc.).
• Read and understand all parts of a work order packet, including drawings, cut lists, and bills of material.
• Demonstrate quality workmanship while working at a pace consistent with co-workers.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following processes and guidelines.
• A solid work ethic and a self-motivated attitude are essential for this position.
